Setting up of HP printer 4520

 

•For installation of the Hp printer 4520 on the desktop, click on 123.hp.com and enter your printer model number in the search area and select the search icon.

•To download the drivers directly from the website, use the instructions provided on-screen.

•Select the option ‘download' present under the ‘Driver’ option.

•After the drivers Start downloading, A window Pop up with the device installation setting will appear with preferences of yes and no. Here select the radio button before YES and allow the drivers to get downloaded.

 

(Note: Before setting up a new printer, remember to remove the previously installed printer from the computer.)

 

Hp printer 4520 installation

•Connect your computer with the HP printer 4520 using the USB cable provided.

•Click on the setting and select ‘control panel'. Now select ‘Device and printers’ and click on it.

•A new window will open where you can select the printer Which you have to install that has the same model number.

•Now select the printer and right-click on the option ‘printer', then click on ‘add printer'. Now the printer will be ready to use.

 

Now to check if the printer is working properly,

 

•place a paper in the tray of the printer and select the document that you want to print.

•Press the keys ‘ctrl’ + ‘P’ simultaneously on the keyboard, Which will open a new window on the screen. Here you can enter the number of pages that you want to print.

•Now select the ‘ok' button or you can press the ‘enter' key on the keyboard. The printer will now print the pages you selected.

 

ON OCCURRENCE OF ISSUES WHILE PRINTING

 

•To check if the printer is not properly installed or to check where exactly the problem lies restart the printer and the computer.

•Reconnect all the cables that connect the printer to the computer as well as all the cables connected with electricity connections.

•Also, assure that the USB port of the computer is working properly or use a different USB port of the computer once. Also, make sure that the USB cable is properly working or else use another USB cable.

•In case there is any previous printer connected with the computer, disconnect it and connect the one that you want to use.
